First Room

The game is approaching its former state of completion (i.e., not much). The first room the player sees is this office receptional desk:
This room was already fully functional back then, while this is only a mockup. But since I only have to copy&paste most of the code, I will do a few more graphics before I actually put anything together this time. This screen actually has a lot of finished animation already.

Baby Steps

Progress is slow. I found a few hours yesterday do work on the sideways view for the walkcycles, but I'm having second thoughts about whether to include a third tone per color or not:


Should I go for the more complex look or the cartoony look? Do the extra work or keep it clean and flat?
